Did they not have it last year? According to this (http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=19985), the Sabres are defending champs. I can't find a list of tournament champs so maybe they only do it biannually.

Sabres - Wings in the final tonight. Both completed the round robin at 3-0. The Sabres have done it with offense (16-10 gf/ga) while the Wings have relied on stour defense (11-4). Unfortunately, NHL Network will be airing more old Cup broadcasts.
