Should have offered him the $100 million instead of Williams.

"The possibility of Peyton Manning playing in Kansas City only confirms that cheapskate city owners...."

That way my favorite part. Peyton Manning was not cheap!

When Peyton Manning was available back in 2012, he was a great acquisition for a team that was on the cusp and ready to win now, just lacking a QB. He might not have been such a great signing for a team that was in a shambles with holes everywhere, a team like Oakland, for instance. Manning is certainly not washed up. He probably has a few good years left, but it's hard to know exactly how many. A lousy team signing Manning might just be ready to contend about the time Manning was ready to retire. Manning also knew this going in to his free agency and was only willing to sign with a team that was ready to win now because he didn't have the time to be part of a rebuilding effort.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I'd take the gamble of paying Manning 4 years/$100 Million over the POS QB's we have had the past 12+ years. He instantly makes all the coaches and everyone on the team better.

But he had a list of 3,4 teams he would consider.

He would get overpaid, no matter where he went.

Your point is moot...other than to cry.

I don't think it went over anyone's head.

                              It just wasn't very funny.

When you have to argue about how funny your joke was, it's usually because it wasn't.
