What will the excuses be for the Patriots?

"Brady still hasn't gotten used to his new receivers"
"The team is too young"
"Buffalo got a few good breaks and they were at home"
"Hernandez, Gronk, and Welker are gone as Brady's weapons, if he still had them it would be lopsided."

And before anyone goes "None, we won't win," shut up, we are all apparently supposed to know that.

Remember, the Bills won't win any games this year, they will only thrive off the mistakes and misfortunes of other teams

It will be some garbage about the new WRs and Gronk being out (I think Amendola is doubtfull?).

Still annoys me because they have Brady so they'll be fine. He stole the best years of my life as a Bills fan. Damn him.

Amendola has had a groin injury, but is listed as probable. Amendola & Sudfeld are the two weapons the Bills need to take away from Brady.

the highlighted one isn't really excuse. those are what winning teams do. they capitalize on a few opportunities and they win at home.

but if the bills just route the patriots, i think most of us remember 2008 and 2011. tempering expectations wouldn't hurt. i honestly think if the bills win this game, the marrone change will be real and the team will actually just have a positive attitude and can win a bunch of games. but we haven't seen marrone as a HC in a tight spot and time running out. The team seemingly hasn't handled the last 2 weeks well in terms of the adversity with regards to the score board.

i'm excited for the season. i hope they win, i won't be surprised if it's another tough year. but i have been prepping for a magical run that shuts up the media for about 8 years and it hasn't happened yet.
