If Chan was still the head coach, how would this game have gone?

We got killed by the Jets in our home opener last year, terrible coaching. The Pats hung 89 points on us in our 2 meetings, a complete mess.

Our coaches are working with many new people, our defense held up several critical times in very short yard situations against Brady who kills everyone inside the 10 yard line & we created a few turnovers (one on our 1' line). How you didn't see huge improvement against one of the best teams in our conference is beyond me, I had this game as a loss as soon as it was announced (though I figured we could cover). Relax & enjoy the show, we're better now than anytime recent.

I care about improvement, our defense helped almost win us the game against one of the most prolific passers in NFL history. If I had to give any QB the ball right now inside the opponents 10, Brady would be in the top 3 & maybe #1.

I understand improvement, but better than Chan is a very low bar.

I'd rather compare to successful coaches.

Would have been a blowout under Chan.

There are coaches outside of Buffalo.

Ok we lost by 4 points less this time than we did last with Chan.

So it was a difference of 4 points.

Who cares? We lost in the same fashion. Blew a game we could have won. An L is an L.
