All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Worst attitude on the planet. Toxic from what I can tell, albeit I can't say for sure obviously since I'm not there. Still, he is saying all the wrong things, he held out, etc., etc., and regardless of his talent, he's done in B'lo. They have a great rookie nucleus forming on the team with the right attitudes and the talent so get rid of all the negative blood IMO.
What are the parameters of being a franchised player? Meaning, what happens at the end of the season?
Yeah, let's get rid of some of our best players 1 week into the season. Doesn't even make any sense at all. Mario and Byrd are already guaranteed their money now that the season has begun anyway, if all this is about is money...that's the way I understand it. Talk about this crap after the season is over.
Maybe. Right now I just want the poison off the team. Too many talented solid young players that are starting to show promise to have to put up with bad examples from overpriced vets who don't put their contracts where their mouths are. I can deal with it if they produce, but if you cost alot, dont produce AND have a crappy attitude, the team is better off without those players.
Initially I was all for keeping Byrd, but the longer this goes on, the harder it is to support him.
I have to wonder if he and his agent were just trying to bilk the Bills out of a huge signing bonus because he has the nagging, recurring type of injury and may never get another shot at that kind of money.
At this point I want them to trade Byrd, because it's obvious the team screwed this pooch to death and I'm sick of hearing about it and arguing about it. Let other teams have talent for a change.

Can definitely see that as happening. Guys who want to (or can) play don't say "when I'm 100%" I'll be out there. Wonder if there's something in his contract about the length of time he is not on IR the more bonus he gets...meaning, the longer he stalls, the more he gets....anyhoo, as the title suggests, Get Rid of Him.
I understand why people think Mario Williams is a bum. He makes 100 mil but rarely affects the outcome of a game with a timely sack or QB pressure. The 10+ sacks a year are nice, but a little cosmetic. Etc etc. Fair enough.
But let's not make the mistake of lumping Byrd into that category.
Disclaimer: The sentiment expressed in this post is strictly for entertainment purposes only.
I think that Byrd has poisoned his own market value with the holdout and now the foot issue. If he barely plays this year due to this injury, no one will pay him the money he wants this offseason. I also don't see any team taking a gamble trading for the guy this year until they see him play some and with only the one year contract this year.
