    The Alonso fumble recovery could have sealed the game

    When I first saw the replay, I remember thinking he cod have taken it the distance if Searcy got a block on the RB. It looked like Searcy was trying to run with the ball w/ Kiko. The play happened so fast I can't blame anybody, but after watching the replay from the field level view, man that was so close to going 99 yards for a TD. He had four guys to escort him to the end zone.

    I guess it just reinforces how razor thin the difference is between good, bad and great plays. It was a good play, but was so close to being great.

    it's kind of frustrating in big plays like that how many time the escort from the players with the ball usually tends to just be a rah rah parade and very few people escorting the player down. even for searcy's td, he was gassed early and 4 guys were around him. it took one guy a second to spring the block he needed to make it. and edelman was racing down.

    it's not a bills related problem, it just happens a lot in football in general.

    and i agree, the momentum should have simply been turned because of getting the football back. and it did. the bills started with a nice steady drive.and then a phantom hands to the face on 3rd and 1 helped the patriots stay in the game per usual.

      The Pats get penalties in their favor on 3rd down, their opponents are 1st / 2nd down.

        If only he could've returned the fumble for a TD. If only our defense could've stopped a single 3rd down on the last drive. If only our offense would've had more then one TD after halftime. None of that happened and we lost the game. Almost every team can have them discussions after a loss. The good ones pull out the wins more often then they don't.
