Sadly our offense has failed to finished drives, and some weird playcalling (quick throw to Chandler in the flat on 3rd and 5, what is he supposed to make 4 guys miss at his size???) have caused a very solid first half effort result in a Panthers lead. We totally outplayed them and are down, wtf

This is by far his best game as a Bill.

If it wasn't for a stupid penalty, nearly all the Williams on the Bills played well. Meatball also was pretty impressive.

He sure did "suck" today.

Hope he "sucks" like that again next week.

That's what I was expecting when they signed him. Hopefully it's not just one of the 2 great games he has every year.

Setting the single game sack record...not bad.

He also lit up Newton. It wasn't just falling into something. He looked pretty good.

He's crap. He got 4.5 sacks against one of the leagues best young QB's and also one of the most elusive...

It was. The first time I saw real fire out of him.

That's something for him to build on.

For the "oh, he's doing OK/its really not his fault/what do you expect from him crowd....

That's how he's capable of playing.

You just can't bring it once in 18 games.

PS to Aaron Williams...don't be an ass. Jesus that was stupid.

The defense was riding high at that point, and he was amped up, but you need to know when to be aggressive and when not to.

This is my fear unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong.

He was a beast today... and there's no reason he can't play like this week in and week out.

Dial in Dareus and we might actually have something more than cool.

Who did the four sacks come against at the OT position? I was out of town so I'm just curious if he beat Gross, Bell, or Chandler.

I just posted his game highlight, I think one was off Bell and one on Gross, not sure on the rest. Dude went medieval.

Some guys dominate early in their careers, then disappear, or fail to repeat their early success. JPP, Kearse (he was a beast).

I hope Mario is one of those old school guys who gets stronger as he matures. Hopefully this is the first of his multi-sack games.

4.5 sacks, awesome. 4.5 sacks against an elusive QB like Cam Newton? Amazing.

It is so exciting to see us getting at the QB. I love watching our defense.

I remember at least 3 of these sacks happened on 3rd down, too. The Bills probably don't win if Mario didn't play like he did, really.

I've given him crap week after week for his performance.

Yesterday was his best game.

Now go do it again.

I told my buddy while watching the game that TODAY Mario is better than Bruce Smith and not one single argument. I myself thought I'd never said that ever but it just came out of my mouth.

p.s. I was not drunk at the time.

This is what I was most impressed with. 3.5 sacks on 3rd down. He was a drive killer, exactly what we need from him.

He could have had more if not for Newton's elusiveness at times.

you could also see on some of his non-sack rushes that his foot isn't close to being 100%. he was rushing the passer and he was going full speed into the pocket and cam got out of it. he didn't really have the explosiveness like usual to change direction and keep after newton.

so when you see he got 4.5 sacks when the foot isn't really there (and he's not talking about it as an excuse), you can only pray for the QB's who will see him if that foot gets better.

Mostly Bell. But they were doubling him too

I miss Jamezz videos of our win games. Seeing Mario rack up sacks reminded me of that game where we got 7 sacks on Daunte Culpepper when he played for Miami.

Almost brought a tear to my eye...
