This offense needs a real TE

Chandler is killing them today. He was average before the knee injury, now he's a liability.

I would like to see more of Easley and Gragg on offense.

He's solid in the red zone and sitting alone in the middle of the field...but thats it. Whats up with these terrible throws in the flat to him.

Have to agree with this. Plus the useless short throws to him on 3rd and long.

Yeah, I would like to see better TE's, personally.

If EJ had thrown the football to him, rather than over him, he would have had a TD in the 1st quarter. Bad throw by EJ. A big opportunity missed. Still, all's well that ends well, and EJ pulled his arse out of the fire with the last drive.
He's going to continue to make some mistakes, but he really does look like he will be the real deal. Good general progress made from last week, but he still left a fair few plays out there.

Chandlers hands have always been suspect. I want to see Gragg.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
              It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I think if we just let EJ sling it then Chandler will fit in. We are forcing it to him which is not what you do to TEs unless there Gonzalez or Whitten

Disagree. I think hands are Chandler's prime asset. It's agility that he lacks almost completely. Throw the ball near him and he almost always comes down with it. And usually falls over immediately.

They were throwng those quick outside hooks to Chandler, who is the wrong personnel for those kind of plays. Those passes should be to a quick and fast type WRs, look at Eddie Royal today. Goodwin when not hurt or Chris Hogan would be a good candidate for it. Chandler is nothing but a huge red zone target.

Chandler was better with Fitz. Ej was the one who missed him in the endzone.
