The kid can't be rattled and has all the arm you want.

Losman had all the arm you want but was a fiery, cocky guy who couldn't keep it together in big moments.

I thought Bizzaro Edwards but Trent never had the legs or arm of EJ. Losman had both.

Stolen from JCBills:
95.9 QB Rating
45 of 66
446 Yds Passing
3 TD
1 INT
68.2% Comp
6.75 Yds/Att
36 Yds Rushing
5.1 Ypc

The kid looks good.

EJ=EJ and any connection to Losman/Edwards/johnson makes me want to vomit.

Hugging his Dad for a long time post game made me like him even more.

It's a good thing.

This team hasn't had a QB with great pocket presence and mental markup since Kelly.

3 TD's including a game winner, 1 int and 1 sack in 2 full games as a rookie? I'll take it.

Stolen from me :P

All good tho.

It is still early, but I like what I see so far. This is the 3rd youngest team in the NFL, if they can grow together then this could be fun to watch for a while.

I'll take it as well, but if I never had to hear Losman for the rest of my life it would still be too soon(;

Great for when you don't want to wait for NFL.com to update the stats.

EJ had a some bad throws today but overall he had a solid game.

Those bad passes that I can remember are
one could have gone for a TD to Chandler where he split both safeties,
the int, though all four receivers hitched after four yards.
a bomb to Graham that beat his man and maybe should have been intercepted
and a couple of third down passes short of the yardage needed.

The guy needs time, this win will give more confidence. I hate sometimes that Hackett is conservative but long term could be what EJ needs for his career.

Don't bring up those dud QB names again. We're trying to forget them.

I did not know what you were talking about until I looked up the word "Bizzaro":

Via Wikapedia: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizzaro)

Bizarro is a fictional character (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fictional_character) who appears in comic books (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_book) published by DC Comics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Comics). The character was created by writer Otto Binder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Binder) and artist George Papp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Papp) as a "mirror image" of Superman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman) and first appeared inSuperboy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superboy_(comic_book)) #68 (1958). Since then, various iterations of Bizarro have appeared in which he is often, but not always, portrayed as an antagonist to Superman.

I don't read comic books. Waste of time.

But, the analogy seems fairly relevant. I don't compare any QB's to Losman or Edwards. That is too low a bar.

I compare Manuel to Jim Kelly....the QB I want him to be better than.

There is that same coolness in the pocket..same toughness. Manual has got a similar arm to Kelly, but is much faster.

I would like to see EJ run more. This kid could be deadly if he's feared as a running threat. Still awfully early to determine if he's the answer. I've been teased too many times over the years with Bill's QBs.

Looking very good so far!!

I don't want him to run too much. That is an easy way to get injured. He has the speed to get some yards with his legs when things break down, but EJ is a passer before a runner.
