Hilarious that a few posters think long term the Bills win against the Panthers will cost them the No.1 overall pick or a Top 5 pick next year. The last 2 times the Bills picked in the Top 5 they didn't get a dominate player. Way too early to think about draft positioning in 2014

We've got a prospect at QB that could be the franchise QB we need. I see no real reason to go after the top pick.
Hell no. I want to win every damn game we can now and develop.
Where we pick is not important.

Re: Only Losers Want to Lose
As disgusted as I have often been over the last 13 - now 14 - years, I NEVER want the Bills to lose. FRIGGING NEVER. How can a fan want his team to lose?
You simply don't know if your coveted 1st round pick will be a mediocrity, a bust, or suffer a career ending injury on his first play. You never know if your 6th round pick will turn out to be a superstar. Win every game you can, and let the draft chips fall where they may.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Losing out every year for "sure thing " draft picks is sharp thinking.
Are you missing a chromosome or something ?Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

Re: Only Losers Want to Lose
Early in the season I want to win every game possible, there's still a little glimmer of hope. I don't see this team as a playoff type squad and I'm one of the few who apparently doesn't slobber over EJ's nuts but I'll take wins early in the year when they still matter any time.
Now once you're out of the playoff race, lose baby lose.
