really thought Baptiste would really make the club...he was awesome in Traverse, MI hockey tournament had 4G+3A=7

He just turned 18 a month ago, he had 0% chance of making the club.

Playing well in a PROSPECTS tournament doesn't mean you're ready for the NHL. He's looking good so far, but he's a few years off in even the most optimistic scenarios.

Some people still seem to think that the NHL works like the NFL or NBA where draft picks come in and make an immediate impact. That happens (like Myers), but it's rare. Usually these guys take time to develop, and most 18 year olds don't have the frame to take 82 games of NHL punishment.

Looked like a Crosby goal except he didn't over exaggerate and fall down after or go flying into the boards like he was going to fall over

i dont expect grigo to get like 60 points this year, but i think youll see a jump in his play and production this year.
