NHL's next move... putting ads on back of the jerseys?

The bigger question, though, is whether there actually is a point, beyond the given "enforce one uniform rule, enforce them all" rationale—specifically, whether it's all a precursor to placing ads on the parts of jerseys that were once tucked. If that were to happen anytime soon, all this will seem pretty silly. It's doubtful that it'd be totally forgotten, though. Pro (and college) sports are big businesses, and revenue is revenue. Just be honest about it—like the NBA. http://www.sportingnews.com/nhl/stor...-alex-ovechkin

    No. NO.

    A THOUSAND times, no!
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.
