Geno Smith looked to be ahead of EJ

Have to be honest and thought Geno was much more impressive than EJ despite the interceptions. Kind of feel like this is a learning and trying period for him.

EJ, on the other hand, like so many have said, looked confused and the inaccuracy really showed. I don't buy into the O-Line struggle affecting him. I've always believe a good QB makes O-Line look better than they are. How come Brady, Manning, Brees always have good O-Lines? Even our old Fitz makes the O-Line look better.

I know what people have said. EJ is the one with the most potential of this year's draft. But potential can be a dangerous word. We'll see how he progress this year. Judging from what the Jets have put on Geno's plate, I'd not be surprised that Geno progress faster than EJ by the end of the year. Of course from Buffalo's view, reaching full potential is the key word on EJ in the long run.

I cannot help but feel the changing landscape of NFL QBs. Last year's Luck, RGIII (still looked dnagerous despite 0-3), Tennerhill, Wilson all looked good. Locker from a year ago seems to coming out strong as well. The Bills better get EJ and develop him right. If they get another high draft pick next year, I'd not be against draft another QB high since this is such a key position.

Geno is ahead in the mojo department. He had balls to throw the ball but he made a bunch of rookie mistakes.

The bills should have EJ work on his passes all week long. The ravens will do the same thing the jets did and if EJ can't throw decently .... Ej has this week to fix his problems because I think Tuel can do better or at least willing to find out.

I'm not willing to give up on EJ after one bad game. I'm pretty sure they will give him this year. I want to see improvements. Kind of like Tannerhill last year where everyone saw a very raw guy but near the end of year they see someone who can be a solid NFL QB. Tannerhill himself said as much that this year everything slows down for him.

EJ showed poise but not much else right now. There is a long road ahead.

I'm not giving up onEJ either, but his tentativeness and horrible accuracy worries me. We need a qb with an eltite arm and accuracy to win a sb.

His deep balls were in play. He almost threw a late pick six if any Bills player was actually looking, it was terrible.

Gino would have had 5 picks if we had put the pressure on him the Jets put on EJ. I still think Geno Smith blows.

Our OL did its job, just goes to show that Rex is the master mind of his defense. Pettine was just someone in the position.

At this point, Geno is way ahead.

This was a tale of two qb's where one could take advantage of a depleted db and one couldn't.

I wouldnt say way ahead, i just think he has the benefit of a nasty defense.

Then it was about EJ holding the ball too long. Throw it away.

I don't think EJ looked confused at all. He understood the defenses he was facing and did a good job diagnosing them. He just didn't come close to physically executing what he attempted.

Geno outplayed EJ but Justin Rogers and the Jets defense more then made it possible.
