No surprise there. Getting carted off is almost always a season ender. Sucks too- he wasn't dominant but he finally looked decent out there.

Its a pretty big loss he wasnt a great player but he was pretty solid.

Honestly he would be a perfect #3 de now just to find #1 and #2

Well if the next guy up was better than Carrington, he would have been playing whe Carrington was on the bench.

I understand- a lot of our players aren't very good. What I don't understand is why some of you think we have better players riding the pine.

Never said we had better players but they are not that much worse either in my opinion. Carrington was a horrbile pick in the 1st place by the country bumpkin Nix and should have been cut last year. He has done nothing. Another guy who "looked great in camp". Branch/Ross (if they bring him back) isn't much of drop off in my opinion. The secondary is the real problem here.

The players that some fans value, or in this case don't, shows that either they don't know what they are looking at, or they just read box scores. It is very hard to sound informed either way.

bb.com already has corbin bryant up as starting de :'(

jerry hughes is the only other de on the roster and hes more of a rush specialist. jamie blatnick and izaan cross (kewl name) are on the ps

oh yeah no carrington is no big loss. finally starts making plays on a fairly consistent basis and his injury is nuthin. izaan cross got your back
