    Game Thread vs the Pens

    Hello guys, I was a pretty active hockey poster over at the Range before I was banned for…. Talking about the Range here? Anyway I’m excited for this game. I really love our third line Girgensons, Grigorenko, and Flynn. Girgensons looks like a real talent.

    Stafford and Ennis need to make some noise and could Vanek possibly be gripping his stick a little to hard due to the captaincy? I think so. He will relax soon and start lighting it up. Leino being out is yet another blemish on his tenure with Buffalo.

    I think we will see some offense against the Pens. I don’t know if we can overcome their firepower though.

        Uggh Myers a bad penalty. This kid needs to be better, I still believe in him but good Lord he is frustrating.

            God this team sucks. Every time Pitt gets the puck it's 20 or 30 seconds in the Sabres zone. Every time he Sabres get the pick, it's one and done. I've never seen a team so ineffectual at establishing the offensive zone.

              Our young blueliners killed us in the period. Not clearing the front of the net on both the goals. The second goal was worse than the first. I believe it was Ristolainen who didn't even touch Kobasew when he scored the Pens second goal.

                    i've watched this team live for 140 minutes now and I've yet to see a goal (had to miss 3rd period in opener)

                      wow, I cannot believe how bad our defense was today in front of the net. Especially Myers. I realize none of it matters if we don't score but that will come, right?
