Losses on four consecutive nights in the 4 major North American pro sports. And we only have two teams.

Anyone happen to know the record for the least amout of goals, least amount of PP goals and lowest PP percentage in an 82 game season? Buffalo is about to set a new low on all 3.

remember when bad sabres seasons resulted in conversations of "but we have so and so in the pipeline, things will get better"?

Well this team has all its prospects up, and they can't receive a pass or make a pass. everything else goes down from there. it's like they were picked up 30 minutes before the game, never met any of the other guys on the team, and then asked to compete against a pro-team.

How many more games do we have to lose before Darcy is gone? he can't pick a coach for his life, and while he's swung some great deals for picks in the past, why isn't this team even remotely competetive? and he should trade stafford for whatever, just his presence on the ice is a joke. he's gliding out there. and in the trade, if darcy is the great dealer we all thought he was, he should put himself in the trade and get us a GM with a clue.

The Sabres (0-5-1) can tie the franchise record for longest winless streak from the start of the season if they don’t get a win tonight. Their anemic offense has an NHL-low six goals in six games – tied with the 1970 Buffalo expansionites for fewest in franchise history – and faces a tough test against a Minnesota team that leads the NHL in fewest shots on goal against (21.4). The Sabres, conversely, are second-last in that department (37.0). http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/sabres-nhl/pominville-sabres-to-renew-acquaintances-20131014

I hope they shater the record for futility. The DSabres could then get a top 2 pick and Darcy can select a european project to bolster Rochester for half a decade while we all "suffer".
