It seems like Hackett is way too conservative in close situations.

It's like he's afraid he makes the wrong playcall and a big turnover happens that ends the game or puts it away.

He appears to be calling the game scared of failing.

Great call on fourth down to Chandler.

Hackett is getting big league OJT...I've been critical of him also, but he gets at least a season to figure things out.

This loss is much more about the defense and trenches than it is Hackett's play-calling.

When you have the ball inside the 20 in overtime and a field goal wins it you dont run run pass. You go for the win you made the overtime by being down by 14 points in the 4th qt you dont play conservative in that situation.

Yes the defense didnt play very well today but they gave them a chance to win when they stopped the bengals in the first possetion of overtime. This loss is on Hackett and the special teams.

And if Lewis had thrown a pick, or been sacked, or gone three and out on three straight incompletions you would've been calling him a dumbass for not giving the ball to CJ or Freddie.

Yep. You have to know a 3 and out there gives the opponent a great chance to win. Go for the win yourself! I can't stand Hackett so far. I agree with YR he gets the season but if this continues I hope he's gone

Our D played pretty damn well for the last half of the 3rd quarter and the 4th, and the punt coverage really blew it on that last return. We were stopping them and I had confidence we would again if our coverage could have kept them on the other side of the 50.

Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree...the defense played like **** for most of the game, and actually they are lucky that the offense put the team in a position to win with the last two TD's. Both were great calls, and great throws, BTW...

Hackett did fine. He had a kid in his second start and went for 24 today. I expect great things next week against Miami.

Ok we do agree about the D playing like **** for most of the game but when the game is on the line and its possibly the last time you will touch the ball in OT you need to have some balls. Look at what Marvin Lewis did on 4th and 15 around mid field he went for it and got it. If you want to win in this league you have to have some balls between your legs and the bills didnt today.

My big beef with Hackett today was the play calling on the series we were stuffed on first and goal from the 2. How do you call the same play on first second third down then throw on 4th wth the FB and a tackle eligible as the only receivers out

7 minsm to go. The Bills down by7. Averaging 4.2 yards a carry in the second half and they throw 3 straight passes with an inexperienced QB that was getting mauled all game. That is not acceptable. Have to clean that mess up.
