Nabokov looked bad last night. He let a weak backhand by Ehrhoff that flopped over Stafford's stick trickle through his pads for Ennis to alertly stuff in the net. And then he let's a wrister by Foligno from the high slot get past him. He didn't even move on either shootout goal until the pucks were behind him.

As bad as we are, we were expected to be bad.

Analysts need to start looking at Philly, NYR, and the Devils, who have alot better looking rosters.

New Jersey is still winless.

Because Jersey sucks at the moment offers nothing to our suffering.

so we are better than 2 teams right now, lets throw a parade.. cuz this is prolly the most celebration we'll have this season.

Then again we started 0-6-x in 1999.... and look what happened. (I know, VEeeeeery wishful thinking)

in 1999-2000, they were the 8th seed and lost to the flyers in 5 in the first round. in 98-99, they were actually the best team in the league at the new year.

in the possible chance the devils finish below the sabres, sabres would move up in the draft.

No guarantee of that. NHL has a draft lottery- it's not pure order of finish like the NFL.

well, either way. instead of 14 teams going for the lottery, its 13 this year.
