Pumped for Thad Lewis This Week

While I love what E.J. Manual has done to this point and that I am convinced that he is a franchise guy, I'm excited for what Thad Lewis is going to do this week. He is returning home to play which I love. He is playing a D not as good as last week. They give up a ton of big plays. We have match ups all over the place that favor us.

Lewis has a swag that will be infectious to the team. I think he wins tomorrow and by the time Manual comes back Lewis will have played well enough that people will want him to stick.

Buffalo rolls tomorrow.

I expect Thad to play well tomorrow & I think the Bills will surprise a lot of people & win the game.

That said, Thad would have to win every game until EJ is ready to go for me to want to keep Thad in at QB 1.

I still don't know what the Bills have in Thad Lewis. Dude has played two NFL games in his career. Luckily for him , he looked good in them. One of the things I liked about him last Sunday was his scrambling ability. Compared to EJ Manuel, Lewis looked more confident and aggressive in his rushes. Unfortunately, there's a negative to that in him not taking care of the football. Still, he looked very good last week. I would like to see more intermediate throws downfield (10-20 yard passes) as well as screens and timing patterns.

If Thad Lewis can hook up with Scott Chandler more often, I'd be a happy Bills fan. Chandler is money in the redzone and he's a big, sure handed target. Let him run to the soft spots in the defense and have him sit on those spots.

Hackett will have his best day as a play caller in the NFL tommrow. Last week vs Mike Zimmer and this week vs. Kevin Coyle. Coyle worked under Zimmer in Cincy.

Remains to be seen if Coyle will duplicate Zimmer's annoying tendency to call all-out blitzes in the 4th quarter.

for this week at least thadds livin the dream for sure. obscure bubble player leapfrogs six week backup from the ps to have a very good game and suddenly be a must have fantasy pickup. hope he gets a second week and this time the bills dont waste it
