2009 - Yes

Dies a couple days right after his longtime coach and close friend, Bum Phillips.

We've already established that Ralph is going to outlive us all. Our great grandchildren will all be in the hospice and Ralph will still be here. As for Bud Adams, well I thought the game lost a great man when Bum Philips died this week, but as for Bud, well I feel for his family, but he still has that music city scam to atone for. Good riddance *******.

Any owner that moves an NFL franchise can rot in hell for all I care.

Well, the Titans used to be the Oilers. Bud Adams is no doubt hated in Houston as Modell is in Cleveland.

And yeah, he not only gave us all the finger, but in a HOF preseason game as well.

Ralph Wilson, Jr. released a statement about Bud Adams:“I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of Bud Adams. As original AFL team owners, we all shared a common bond and a deep sense of pride in where we started in 1960 to where the NFL is today and how much our fans enjoy the game of professional football. Bud certainly played an important role in the growth and development of our game and today I am remembering with great fondness all the laughs we shared with the special memories over the years. Through it all, our teams played some of the most memorable games in AFL and NFL history. I want to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to Bud’s daughters Susan and Amy, and family, and to all of his many friends.”

Ralph has 100 times more class than Bud had.

Let's get a convoy of Bills fan to go to his funeral and flip him off. Seriously though, RIP Bud.

And Bum Phillips may have pulled him down there for firing him after 1980.

TIL... that of the 8 original AFL teams only two teams have not changed names or cities, the Broncos and the Bills.

Absolutely, of course I am also fairly sure that he will outlast most of us.

Yep, this defines Bud Adams to me. Guess he shouldn't have done that.

A guy who is probably worth $1,000,000,000 living to the age of 90...well, what's to be sorry about? There are worse things, maybe like living past the age of 100, for example.

That said, rest in peace, Bud Adams. We are all doomed.
