Mario Williams and the Bills have now convinced two teams to make roster moves on their o-line.

1. Week 4 Mario sacks Flacco 4.5 times and the next day Bryant McKinnie was placed on the trading block.
2. Week 7 Mario has 2 sacks against Miami including a pivotal 4th quarter sack-fumble and the next day, the Fins trade a draft pick for Bryant McKinnie.

Irony at its finest.

He's not going to help them one bit. Just another turnstile.

Yep. The Dolphins just gave up a pick for a 35 year-old o-lineman that just basically got replaced for not playing up to par. Nice move, indeed. I wonder what his salary is because aren't the Phins tight against the cap after this season?

Mario only had one sack in the Ravens game, 4.5 was against the Panthers.

PFF has Clabo rated as the 66th tackle in the league... McKinnie 65th.

Oops. It was still the Bills game that pushed McKinnie out the door.

Wasn't Clabo the guy that Buddy tried pretty hard to sign a few years back, but in the end the Bills were just leverage for him to re-sign with his old team?

what a disaster the two huge name tackles from 2002 ended up in the long run.... mike williams and this clown.

Really? McKinnie was a pro-bowler at 31, and had many good years, but he has seriously declined. I don't think he deserves to be lumped in with Mike Williams.

This is the usually the typical Bills move. "We can make it work"; "This time it will be different"; "Yeah he's bad but he has serious potential and he hasn't worked with our coaches"

Fair enough. But worthy of a number 7 pick?

both guys were considered absolute blue chippers that draft. williams is arguably the biggest bust in bills history, at least mckinnie was good and played a long time. still a desperate move by the fish, which is good. spend those picks miami, spend em up

Oh noes, whatever what will we do without a conditional 6th round pick?

I'll take "things the Dolphins should have addressed before the season" for $100.

For a LT who was solid for over a decade-absolutely. Back in those days I was going to all the home games. Every time Williams would screw up I'd turn to my friend next to me & say "Should have drafted McKinnie"

Maybe so, but the Bills had good pressure on Flacco all game.

The same thing Dolphins management does during every draft: snort rails off a stripper.
