    I'm glad Freeman chose Minnesota

He looks absolutely pathetic right now. Thad isn't the future but he at least looks competent.

He's throwing some good looking long-balls to no one.

I really think people underestimate how hard these guys prepare and how important that process is. The reason Thad is helping the team compete is his dedication, mental attitude and work ethic. I love listening to him and watching him play. He's the best role model we could have gotten for EJ Manual too. However, I expect were he to have went to the Vikes a couple weeks ago and rolled into New York tonight he would have looked pretty ****ty too.

Pretty sure Freeman has more ten yard overthrows than actual completions at this point.

As hard as it is to believe for some people walking in off the street and starting at QB in the NFL is a recipe for disaster no matter how good you are. It's more than just learning plays. You have to have a feel for your receivers and them for you. You could see that between SJ and Thad in Miami. They were out of sync. Judging Freeman on one game is silly.

Right, but the guy wasn't exactly lighting it up in Tampa with the guys he spent all offseason with either. He's just not that good.

I never thought they kept a stat on it, but ESPN radio said he had 16 overthrows.

thadd looking better than decent so far is pretty much a minor miracle for the bills. losing out on freeman might be the best thing thats happened to the buffalo qb position in a long time

thad has been on practice squad all year, so he has some comfortability to the offense.

Freeman's throws were just awful. the number of times he made the over throw deep out of bounds was awful. you could even see the frustration in the WR demeanor after incompletions. i would think this gets a little better over the coming weeks, but the team is in total disarray. it seems like people on the offense have quit.

I have not seen quit in our guys.

I don't know. I can go years in between playing flag football games and my throws are still on target for the most part. Maybe it's the media but Freeman seems like a headcase. Maybe he's not tho.

You could let him off the hook if the lack of preparation had him unsure of the routes, but that wasn't the case. He knew who to throw to. He was targeting wide open receivers. He was missing by 5-10 yards though. Reminded me of Fitz.

Granted but this was really beyond anything I've seen in a long time. Shockingly poor performance.

you don't need months of practice with someone to hit someone on a 10 yard out. your timing might not be there, to fit it into a tight window where only the WR can get it, but you should be able to hit the WR when he's standing still looking at the qb. Freeman isn't even doing that.

some random fan from the stands would have looked better then Freeman the other day. The news in tampa is freeman was a pot smoking hippy who wasn't interested in football (not sure how he's beat the nfl's drug testing, but the guys in tampa seem convinced he was a pothead), what i have been seeing this year from him and now in Minnesota i can't say Tampa was wrong for cutting him. Hell Freeman's own teammates didn't even chose him for captain this year. that tells me his own team had zero faith in his dedication.

he just looked so lost out there. I can't think L Frazier is going to make to the end of the season if there are a few more games where guys just give up.
