Please consider going to UB/BGSU game at RWS Nov 29 @ 1:30pm

I want to make everyone aware of a pretty big college football game that will be played at Ralph Wilson Stadium the day after Thanksgiving. Our UB Bulls who are 5-2 right now, 3-0 in the MAC conference, host the Falcons of Bowling Green, also 3-0 in conference play. The game is looking like it will decide the winner of the MAC East and give the winner a berth in the MAC championship. (Yes, we know it's not Miami/FSU or Oregon/USC. But those teams aren't playing in Buffalo, are they?)

Here are a list of reasons why it's worth going to this game:

    1) It's the same weekend as the Toronto game so this sort of makes up for a lost weekend of tailgating. Why not let an excuse to tailgate slip by?
    2) UB has Khalil Mack, a LB rated by Gil Brandt, among others, as a Top 10 pick in the 2014 NFL draft. Why miss a chance to see him live in a big game?
    3) Tickets are just $20 and there are half-price deals being offered by the Bills and other sponsors.
    4) It's a football team that wears blue and represents our city.
    5) It will likely decide the MAC East winner. When was the last time a Buffalo football team had a home playoff game?
    6) What else are you going to do the day after Thanksgiving? Go shopping with the wife?
    7) The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU so dress up and act stupid to get on TV. They love that sort of thing.
    8) It's a reason to tailgate at RWS! You LOVE tailgating at RWS!

That's great. Very solid mid-major game. I will definitely be tuning in from NC.

UB still rolling. Beat kent State 41-20. Now 6-2, 4-0 in conference, and bowl eligible for only the second time since they rejoined D1.

UB tied with Penn State for lead in Lambert Cup poll. (Top team in the East)

FYI a HUGE game Tues Nov 5 on ESPN2. Ohio @ UB 8pm. 6-2 vs 6-2. This game will be a yard stick to measure just how good UB really is. Game is in Buffalo so consider going if you are in WNY but at least watch this on TV.
