I know there was some talk of us being one of the opponents for a London team next year, but it won't be.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/jac/jacksonville-jaguars) will host the Dallas Cowboys (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/dal/dallas-cowboys), the Atlanta Falcons (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/atl/atlanta-falcons) will host theDetroit Lions (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/det/detroit-lions) and the Oakland Raiders (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/oak/oakland-raiders) will host the Miami Dolphins (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins) at Wembley Stadium next season.

Not that either case is awesome at all, but I'd rather have my team play on the same continent (Toronto) as opposed to London...the Jags (somehow) have a contract to play 1 game a year there for 4 years. Is the NFL trying to sabotage its own Internationalization by showing the Jags?

It wouldn't be so bad to tell you the truth. Would've been an away game. Take what little or a lot home field advantage our rival has. Its an issue if they take another home game.

bills should never been playing those games with handing over a home game already. we already are helping their bottom line.

I'm not a fan of regular season games in Europe or Asia. I could understand San Diego, Arizona, Dallas, or Houston playing a game down in Mexico City or Us playing in Toronto, Seattle playing in Vancouver, or the Bolts playing a game in Honolulu but London should not get the honor. . . . Except perhaps a season opener involving the participants of the previous year's superbowl.

We're already playing in one foreign country, why would they have us do another?

Exactly. We already lose our home field advantage for the Toronto game, so might as well play a team that loses their home field advantage in London. Playing an away game at a neutral site where both teams have to travel far is an advantage.

I'm glad. Not interested in the lingering effects that kind of trip would have. Seems it would really stop any momentum the team might have going. The flights, and a crappy week of practice.
The hoopla for this game would bring distractions as well. Justin Smith of the 49ers (iirc) compared it to the Superbowl.

The NFL really needs to stop trying to shove their product down the throats of the entire world.

"Look at us, we played a game in London!" So what? Most people in London care more about, "football," than the NFL. Same with Mexico. Soccer is king.

And anyone in Buffalo who has ever gone to a game in Toronto knows quite well how Canadians are pretty much flat out rejecting the NFL.

Stop trying to intrude upon foreign territory, NFL. It's an American sport, and it's unique. There's nothing else like it in the world. The league is diminishing their own product by outsourcing NFL games.

The Bills won't play in London until the Toronto series is over, which might be a while, so calm down.

Bills ain't playin' at no soccer pitch!

Any cash they can gain is worth it to them. Idk if you've heard this before, but the NFL is a business. They see a gigantic market they havent tapped yet and are trying to get a piece of the pie over there. I could care less but thats definitely their reasoning.

I think Asia would be a better place to focus on, they are very Western-centric and I feel like the American-ness of football would catch on quickly. Look how popular basketball and basketball stars are in Asia.

I am not a fan of the NFL playing in London.

The English Soccer league does not come over to America to play REAL games.

If they did no one would show up. They'd have to give away tickets with incentives to fill the stadium.

If they went to NYC where the UN is located along with many International travelers, I think they could sell out one game a year.

I live in England right now. Anybody that proposed this idea, and nobody would ever do such a thing, would be run out of his town a step ahead of a mob.
