All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
In all seriousness we play two teams with winning records the chiefs who have not beaten anyone with a winning record. They do have fantastic def and the patriots are not the patriots anymore Brady has started to show age.
KC is undefeated but they are very beatable if we play good defense and don't turn the ball over. Especially with the game being in Buffalo.
The Steelers and Jets are winnable games but we're not good enough to pencil any team in for a win. At best we could go 2-1 over this stretch. Most likely we will go 1-2 and head into the bye at 4-7 with the season over. We need to win at least two of them to have any shot at the already slim chances of a WC. Even then we would probably need to win out the rest of the schedule.
Other thing I would like to point out was Seattle was 3-6 last year and then went on a similar tear.
Granted the only reason I am saying this is we actually have a good def and they are getting better as Gilmore bryd get into things.
I think this team has a chance at 9-7. We have weathered the hardest part and if we can win these next three games going into the bye that might be all the confidence this team needs.

The defense is getting to much praise. Only 2 other teams have allowed more points. They play great for a few series which makes them look like they are good but then they give up huge plays to ruin it.
We need to worry about trying to win 2 games in a row for the first time this season before we can even talk about winning at least 7 of the last 8 games.

That's over hyped too. They are middle of the pack in points scored. I agree they have a lot of improving to do. Especially in the passing game. Defense needs to stop giving up huge plays though. Bottom line is both sides of the ball have a lot of improving to do.
