Anytime I see any move by the Pats I get that sick feeling in the bottom of my stomach. You're always left wondering what it was they saw that others did not.

They saw Vince Wilfork out for the year.

with that 6th round pick, they'll select the new brady courtesy of ernie adams and bill belichick's swarmy ways.

i guess we'll just have to keep pretending that these guys have won more than any of the other great coaches over the last 40-50 years because they are just that much better.

meh, Sopoaga isnt the player he used to be, but hes better than the 2 schmos they have on the interior now i guess.

Yeah, he is another veteran inside to tie up blockers on early downs, which they need because Wilfork is out. I can see why they made the deal because their run defense really struggles without Wilfork, but Sopoaga is a role player not a difference-maker.

What I don't get is why any team would trade ANYTHING to the Patriots. I wouldn't trade them a sack of used jockstraps from the locker room.

                      3 sacks 2 ff, 1 int 2 defensive tds.

he'll parlay that into a $30m signing bonus with the bills in the offseason. then warm the bench for 3 years before getting cut and then winning a superbowl as a probowler for the ne patriots at the league min salary.

My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                      MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

I'm glad they loosened up the cap hits so it doesn't make it as tough to make trades. I'm also glad there isn't many trades during the season in the NFL.

The last thing I want to see is the NFL turn into MLB or the NBA where some teams will rent hired guns for half of the season to try and win and then they're gone. It makes the trade deadline a little more exciting but it takes away from the concept of actually building a team in the offseason(s) and the draft. Either that or like the NBA where they are just exchanging big long-term contracts for big short-term contracts with other teams.
