I watched the BUF@OSU tilt. He was very impressive.

I've watched all the UB games and attended a couple.

He is a man among boys and is relentless as an OLB. Starts day 1 for any NFL team.

8 NFL scouts in the press box this past Tuesday night.

I think we need CB and RT. No way we draft a RT that high and Glenn is a very good LT already.

Imagine a Gilmour on one side and a top CB on the other, Aaron Williams and Byrd manning the safety spots, and still have depth in McLovin Brooks Robey. Rodger could probably get better learning from his mistakes. Our D could be stout. Then again a good OLB with Kiko in the middle could be good too.

There was a play on during the Ohio game last Tuesday night on ESPN2 where he lined up outside, looped inside with the DE looping out. You almost lose him from the camera angle but all of a sudden you see an Ohio OL just explode out into the air and you see Mack run through and is a half step away from getting a sack before the QB got rid of it. I've never seen a OL just get wrecked like that. Announcers didn't catch it because it wasn't a sack, but my god it was amazing..........

OLB or OT

A big, strong, fast WR would be great too.

I'm hoping for a starting OLB. As to me we still need better LB play as we are weak against the rush in terms of yards and love to add an additional pass rusher as it never hurts. Yet if Barr and Mack are off the board when we pick then I consider trading down and consider a TE like Eric Ebron.

I've seen a few mocks giving the Bills Sammy Watkins out of Clemson who would be ab interesting fit.

If we get another Kiko type guy at LB, it'll make our defense better. How deep is draft going to be on the O-line front ? Another Cordy Glenn type guy in the second would be great.

Here is the Top 10 OT's per CBS;
Jake Matthews Texas A&M OT 2014 6-5 305 5.08 1
Cyrus Kouandjio Alabama OT 2014 6-5 310 5.12 2
Taylor Lewan Michigan OT 2014 6-7 315 5.09 3
Cameron Erving Florida State OT 2014 6-5 320 5.26 4
Antonio Richardson Tennessee OT 2014 6-6 327 5.16 5
Cedric Ogbuehi Texas A&M OT 2014 6-5 300 5.15 6
La'el Collins LSU OT 2014 6-5 315 5.43 7
Brandon Scherff Iowa OT 2014 6-5 315 5.09 8
Seantrel Henderson Miami (Fla.) OT 2014 6-7 345 5.06 9
James Hurst North Carolina OT 2014 6-6 305 5.28 10

The CBS mocks combined had 7 OT's going Round 1 but they only agreed that 3 of them go (Matthews, Lewan, Kouandjio), so maybe you see 4-5 go? Guys like Erving, Ogbuehi, Richardson, and Scherff are all borderline 1-2.

With the remainder of the schedule being pretty soft, there's no way the Bills are drafting in the top 10.

Not trying to slam Mack or UB (bc they are doing very well this year), but why did he go to UB, and not a really big school?

He hurt his knee and was unable to play football his junior year of high school. He played as a senior, but Buffalo was the only DI offer he received. If he was healthy, it might have been different, but he only had the one year of film.

Why did Jerry Rice go to 1-AA?

Why did Jerry Rice go to 1-AA?

Because he wasn't that tall or fast and played in a poor HS division.

I don't have the time to watch much college FB anymore. Is he really worthy of a top 10 pick or are they just projecting him to the Bills because of the Buffalo connection? Kind of like all the experts had Nassib being our #1 pick because of the Marrone connection? Is Mack a top 10 pick?

Guess I should of clicked the link. Didn't realize they have him going to ATL. I'll have to make time to watch a UB game.

They're not projecting Mack to go to the Bills, they have him going to the Falcons the pick before the Bills. I would love for the Bills to get Mack if they have the chance.

He is a stud. If he came out last year he might have been a 2nd round pick. The local media barely covers the program or him

He is a FL kid and was going to FL until Urban played his little stunt..
fL never recruited him after that and the rest is history

In general I look at UB players with a grain of salt. IMHO, Mack is the real deal for the NFL even when you compensate for who he plays against. He could be a part that takes the Bills defense from promising to scary, so I'm absolutely positive we won't get him.

Perfect fit for any team looking at OLB

I think CB is our biggest weakness. We've gotten killed on big plays. I still think back to that Jets game and it makes me cringe. Granted, Gilmore wasn't there, but still. And Bowe was running rampant last week. That said, a nasty OLB would be a lot more exciting.

And that's officially my last draft related comment until January. C'mon guys, there's ACTUAL football to talk about right now.

How was Bowe running rampant? 7 receptions for 67 yards and no TDs is not running rampant

I agree.
I guess most don't know that the Bills let them have the short stuff all game...
A OLB, CB, G would be a great start

Trade up for him, I'd be ok with it for once. Trade partner can have TJ Graham and the coveted Jeff Tuel, and even the recent fullback plus Dennis Dixon. That's bang for your buck Jacksonville, will give you Lee Smith and McCringleberry too.
