Yes, buy a ticket if you want to see the game.

If I still lived in Buffalo, I would never have to worry about a black out because I would be at EVERY game.

I already have a ticket through an all you can drink bus trip.

I wish they had pay per view when games are blacked out.

Yeah, even if you have Sunday ticket, you can't see a blacked out game in that market which is BS.

You are PAYING for the ticket, you should be ALLOWED to see EVERY game.

I have gone through that with the Bucs in the past because I am considered to be in the Tampa market.

Lucky for me, I get the Ft Myers Channels OTA & Ch 36 has all the Bucs games.

It's because of the well financed $9.50 stadium beer vendor lobbyist group.

Be careful what you wish for- when they see how much money they can make, all the games will be ppv.

So, what are your thoughts on the Bills season so far Op?

Any hope for this team in your eyes?

No and hopefully it doesn't sell out so the people that don't support the team can't watch the game.

The D is farther ahead than I thought they'd be. They've had their breakdowns, but they've held their own and been dominant at times, despite a myriad of injuries and being on the field way too long. Kiko may be a great one.

The offense is a different story. The OL is suffering from the loss of Levitre, the coaching decisions are perplexing at best, and our young WR's show both flashes of brilliance and flashes of incompetence. And I don't know what to think of Manuel yet- at times he looks like a quality player who will get better with time, and at other times he looks like he's in over his head.

It doesn't wreak of the utter incompetence of the past, but at the same time I'm not fully convinced.

I pretty much agree, except I thought the defense would be much improved under Pettine & I knew Lawson & Branch were good signings that would help the defense.

Deadline was extended to Friday at 1pm to sell out the remaining 3500 tickets.

Wonder if Ralph buys em again.

I have no idea how large a stadium beer is these days, but if it's 20 oz., that comes out to $136.80 for a case. If it's 16 oz. - $171.00.

Given the tv revenue, I'm thinking that sell-outs are a thing of the past. This game was the only on so far that threatened.

I expect them to lower their criteria next time the owners meet. Toss out the Thursday charade. What team hasn't been summarily been granted an "extension" ?

You're probably not a huge fan of that though because it prevents your ability to thoroughly lick the windows.

They had that meeting and Ralph opted out of lowering it.

He is one hell of a City of Buffalo lover.

I can barely walk on this foot/leg, the weather is calling for rain all day and I am looking at the Bills at 3-7 against the Jets.

I set the clock for 5:30 AM but I am not feeling attending this game.

Love the Bills but this could be a very miserable day.

I'm glad it's sold out. Now I don't have to go watch the game in the rain.

Yeah that is what I am thinking as well.

I go and they give me cheap beer on the bus and a cold sandwich.

I stay home and I drink Crown Royale with Canada Dry and roast beef sandwiches from that 8 lb prime roast I cooked today.

If I go, I will be pumped until half time when the rain gets to me and then that miserable trip over the border that will get me home past 10:00 PM.

If I stay home, I keep my foot elevated, drink stupid, eat well and stay warm.

Go ahead and call me a pussy.

BertSquirtgum
11-16-2013, 07:54 PM
It's not being a pussy. It's called being smart. My friends calls me a pussy when I don't go because of rain. Snow is a different story. I'll sit in snow all day. I can't do rain games anymore.
