“We were very pleased with where he was heading before he was injured in
Cleveland. Last week was not his best effort or from any of us. But I think
that’s where we have to go to see how he progresses along, with his full
complement of players as well. Marquise wasn’t in for much of the first four
games of the year. Robert Woods was out in Pittsburgh. Stevie was out for most
of the Cleveland game. We’d like to see him with his full complement of players
as well.”

I highlighted the part that really troubles me. Functioning well with full complement of players is for game managers, not franchise QBs. Franchise QBs elevate complementary players level at games, like Luck.
The most disheartening fact is EJ looked the worst this past Sunday than at any other point of his young career so far and this is the 10th game of the season. Even when he didn't not play, he's still on the team, seeing all what's going on in games. I expect peaks and valleys in guy's performance, just didn't expect that much of a drop in an overall growth path that should point upwards.
That said, next week, playing at home, you gotta believe he's going to have a better showing. But I don't know I can easily wipe out the memories of what I saw last Sunday.
