Cordy Glenn Proving To Be A Good Pick

He has just one sack allowed so far on the season and had played more snaps than any other LT.

And he'll be on another roster after 2 more seasons.

Hairston showed a lot when he was healthy. If he can come back the need at RT might be knocked down a few notches.

I think if OBD stays on the right track that players will want to stay more. The Byrd fiasco has maybe changed the view on that for some fans, but they have been retaining a lot of their talent. Fred Jackson, Stevie Johnson, and Kyle Williams come to mind. They were trying to re-sign Carrington before his injury, which I hope they still do, though it could be at a reduced rate. He has developed into a very versatile and good DL. They will need to start working on deals for guys like Dareus and Branch, and maybe Chandler if they don't go TE early in this draft. It also wouldn't hurt to start working on deals after next season for guys like Aaron Williams, Searcy, and Hairston if he comes back healthy.

I would also find it hard to argue they have stepped up their free agency game over the last few seasons, and smart trades like Shep for Hughes have paid off.

You don't overpay for OTs that can be kicked into guard.

                Franchise LT. Jonas Jennings re-do.

Nix said the plan was to resign CORE players.

If Glenn is not resigned we will know that plan is not being followed/there is no plan.

I EXPECT Glenn to play MANY years for the Bills.

Better than Jennings, and hopefully (more) durable. The Bills will approach him about an extension after next season, which is the earliest (as per the last CBA) they can do it.

Re: Cordy Glenn Proving To Be A Good Pick

                      -Bills will low ball him

-Bills fans will get offended cry about greed, loyalty, cry how he doesn't want to be here, and then try and down grade how good he actually is by convincing themselves and other fans that"he's really not that good so he's not worth what he wants"(this has become the standard Bills fan mentality when they sense a player is leaving)

-This will then give the Bills the public backing they need to ship him out for draft picks that won't be nearly as good as Glenn

-Delusional Bills fan then will start to say he isn't nearly as good as what he is being paid with his new team, even though he clearly is, to give themselves some emotional and mental comfort of the front office botching another deal because they don't want to pay a few extra dollars to keep talent

I mean I've seen this play out way to many times over the last decade or so...

I wonder how long Lafontaine has before Sabres fans blame him for the past 15 years.

And Bills fans have downgraded Glenn since he was drafted, saying he would make a better Guard & saying the Bills should draft a LT & move him to RT.

Jennings was excellent for the Bills, but fell apart for the Niners.

Jennings was good when healthy, but was often injured. Kind of like Stevie.
