Who cares. A pylon would suffice.

It seems we never have so many performance related releases late into the season prior to this administration. It's almost weekly, not all for injury related (needing a roster spot) reasons.

He didn't suck so much in his rookie season, it all went downhill for there.

Yep. Thought after his rookie season he might grow into something. Seemed as the talent on the team increased, his draft position showed to be accurate.

I hope he catches on with a team that will use him correctly-As a kickoff return man. The guy was our best kick returner 2 years ago & then he never was used as a KR again. He's no CB, but there is a place for him on special teams somewhere.

About 8 weeks too late but better late than never I guess

Hmmm, so why is Jeff Tuel still here? I mean if we are going to cut people who cost us games, Tool has to go he cost us two games.

...he also happens to be a UDFA rookie.

Crikey.

an UDFA? Well ****, that makes him the easiest decision ever. I woulda cut him as soon as the Browns game ended.

Sucks was hoping he would develop into a solid special teams gunner and 4th or 5th corner. However, the writting was on the wall when Brandon Smith who was signed a month ago was an instant active player and he was a healthy inactive.

The real curious thing will be who do they bring in, no one really out there that is intriguing maybe Martez Webster who is an athlete but has done nothing in games.

But, of course, this administration is just as bad as all of them before, and they suck, and do nothing to make the team better.

Well, get a job as a HC then you can make those kind of decisions.

justin rogers i think lost his chance at the NFL. Terrible DB, takes blatant penalty on a punt. i can't imagine him sticking around long after the last game of the season.

I said this in a different post on Monday. I guess i wasn't fast enough on this.

Yeah, teams are always looking for guys who specialize in watching the ball sail over their head through the back of the endzone.

I remember bashing the **** out of him during the first Jets game but later felt bad about it. The guy went from being on the bubble as far as making the team or not going into the final weeks of training camp to being the #1 CB due to injuries and having to perform those duties. I think he could be a special teams guy and/or a 5th CB somewhere. Starting CB...not so much.

"We're smarter than you draft pick"? He was a 7th rounder.

Check out Goodwins nos. vs Tavon Austin .

So far Nix is looking like a genius with that one. You win some, you lose some.

"We're smarter than you draft pick"? He was a 7th rounder. Robey free agent vs. Rogers 7th rd. If you are going to take a flier on someone I will take it on a player from a top school.

Well, the Bills signed Roby as well. Not like they didn't take a flyer on him.

Burfict was another guy we should have taken a flier on with a 7th rd. pick but instead he signs as a free agent with Cincy. It's not like we didn't need lber help and we talked about that guy many times on this site. Instead those past fools were taking kickers and guys from North Dakota State's.

The school has nothing to do with taking late round flyers.

Has it gotten so sad here that people are bashing the front office for not landing a contributor in the 7th round?

k-oneputt

I bash the last regime of morons for not landing contributor's all throughout the draft, and the main reason for that was they thought they were smarter then everyone else with their stupid picks. Have you been sleeping the last dozen years ?
So this regime cut Rogers, good about time. He sucked like all their other small school picks did.

I guess we don't have to worry about the Pats* signing him.

Also with the move back + grab an extra 2nd rounder. That was masterfully executed and they got the guys they wanted.
