What world are we living in 2010? It must be from Quick's injury issues. I can't see any scenario that he beats out a healthy stanley cup/conn smythe winner.

Canada usually struggles with the big ice.

Maybe the fact that Miller's team has sucked around him for years. Miller won the Olympics version of the Conn Smyth the last time too.

Wrong... the time was 3 years ago.

hindsight. the sabres had just won the division, and miller was 29 at the time. no one knew this team would nosedive. i still believe they can get a first rounder for him, but its unlikely.

but if he wants to stick around, and he may, gotta move enroth. he deserves his shot.

I think it's VERY likely. Perhaps even more than that.
They guy pretty consistently faces 40+ SOG per game and still has a .919 sv%. That's superb.

Again that was 2010. We will be 4 years later at Olympics time. I don't think he is a bad just not as good as Quick.

at starting. somewhere else. the last part especially.

i would love a tandem of hack and miller.

That's what I was saying. The reason he is the frontrunner is because of the injury. A healthy Quick should be a starter hands down.

i dont disagree. but miller deserves it too. hes the only reason USA medaled in 2010. they arent supposed to medal this olympics.

Regier was asking for 2 firsts and a second. Stupid. How did he last here so long?

its not stupid he was asking for that. its stupid he expected that. if some team actually offered that, id say hes a mad genius.

That's why Miller is still sitting in Buffalo.

The last thing the Sabres want is to keep Miller...No matter what they say in public.

I think you seriously underestimate the talent the US has to offer.

Miller is head case.

hes actually really not. hes an emotional goalie, but not really a head case.

They always say that and maybe they will suffer from the same thing that plagues Canada on the big ice but realistically, almost all of the US's top talent played in the CHL. If they were good enough to play there, they are good. D is the only weakness I see. Maybe Forward depth but mostly D.
