All I hope now is that the Broncos and Bengals win their remaining games, which would give the Pats the 3rd seed, and that the Ravens win their next 2 games, which would eliminate Miami from the playoffs.

The Patriots should have had the ball at the one yard line with 8 seconds to play. The receiver was mugged.

I guess the NFL wants the Dolphins to succeed so the mess that was Incognito/Martin goes away and is forgotten.

You're right. And with that schedule, not looking likely. Although I hope they at least beat the Pats.

the Cowboys chokejob was classic. $100 Million dollar Romo throws 2 INT's in the final minutes. Just awesome.

Sure, Tony is held accountable for the interceptions, but who calls passing plays when you have the lead with a few minutes left? Run the ball!

oh I could care less. Garrett sucks as a coach, their defense is atrocious, Romo throws 2 horrible INTs, and gives up a 24 pt lead. love it

Apparently Tony did (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000298872/article/garrett-romo-should-have-chosen-to-hand-off-on-interception).

Indeed.

Without the best TE in football Romo wouldn't even be on the Cowboys. They would have dumped him years ago.

jerry jones paying $100MM for romo brings untold joy to me.

I was saying when they were up big, "romo has looked ok for most of the season. i think his playoff choke job is going to be epic." and then this game happened.

pmoon, who would take that contract and give up assets to get romo? They are stuck with him for at least another year.

We will give Tannyhill some big boo boos. The Fins might have to get Jonathan Martin back in the locker room to give him some advice on how to deal with the pain.

12-17-2013, 08:54 AM
You have to give Miami credit for how well they are playing.
I thought they would be toast when the Martin deal went down.
weird how adversity sometimes brings a team together.

I hope the Bills kill their playoff chances Sunday. Then the Pats next week.
Would be a great way to end the season.
Not sure on the forecast for Sunday. But it has been snowing a lot and has been pretty cold.

I don't come here that often, so I'm not here to talk trash.

This isn't true though, my Phins control their playoff destiny now. They win Sunday and against the Jets they are in, since Cincy lost last week. If Ravens win out, they win division, and that leaves the Bengals for us, and we beat them so we win the tiebreaker. And if the Bengals win the last week, it leaves the Ravens at 9-7, and we'd have a better record at 10-6.

IF you want us to miss the playoff, you would need to beat us Sunday. That would hurt things quite a bit.

Bufalo could catch us coming of an emotional high.

I think the fact that the Bills won last time will keep the Phins more focused then they may have been if not. Besides, since when is it easy ever for the Dolphins to go play in Buffalo in December. Short of two years ago, I don't recall many easy December wins in Orchard Park. Philbin will need to keep team focused, as I'm sure Bills will come to play.

Dolphins just officially eliminated the Bills from the playoffs.

yeah, but we defacto did the job ourselves. Fumbled away the Falcons game, threw away the Chiefs games, used piss ass poor clock management to seal the deal against New England, shot ourselves in the foot against the Browns, and did too little too late against Cincy and then in OT could not get the first downs to take game. We also played dead against Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Tampa.

I wanna see the Bills win the next two games, but if they don't, I think it says something about the supposed weak AFC East.

Every one of these teams is improved to varying degrees, and every one of them has been fun to watch this year.

Win/Win.

We may not be in the playoffs, but we made sure we *****slapped Miami again before the season ended. Maybe the new fans can't appreciate it as much as they would have if it would have been the Patriots, but...this game should be dedicated to us old-schoolers who still see Miami as our rivals!
