I was hoping to see something ion this on the 'Net. I haven't looked extensively, but...
On the opening series, the Bengals tried a WR screen. Polamalu CLEARLY hit the receiver before the ball got there. Not pass interference?
So I thought... well, maybe they called it a lateral. That doesn't make sense, either. Why would they blow the play dead when the OL picked it up if it was a lateral?
I heard NO mention of it from the broadcasters, except I think Collinsworth mentioned Troy hit him before the ball got there. He didn't say it should have been PI, though.
What am I missing?
