low risk, medium reward deal. omark has tons of skill. and it has translated in the NHL somewhat. 30 points in 65 career games, and 27 in 51 games in 11-12. he lead his league in points in europe last year, and he has 29 points in 29 games in the AHL this season. so while omark isnt going to be a part of the rebuild long term, most likely, its a deal that the sabres wouldnt lose on. at worst, they get an AHL scorer for a 6th rounder. at best, they get a depth scorer to help their anemic offense.

not earth shattering, but give omark a shot. he was buried in edmonton by younger skilled guys who brought the same game. so down to OKC he went..

my friend, a red wings fan, said he thinks omark could be a 50-60 point guy. even i, the ever optimist, knows this is just a short term deal to see if he can provide some offensive spark most likely.

Omark is definately alot better than his Numbers/Roster position show.

i think he could be a depth scorer. certainly he deserves another shot at the NHL level.

I don't think scoring will be the problem. It will be keeping them out with him on the ice that will be the problem.
