Nice for our players to get recognition, but the Pro Bowl is meaningless. I get Mario and Williams, but Byrd. He only played half the season.Comment

Would've been nice to see Kiko make it also. Dareus was probably left out because they didn't want to overload the d-line with Bills. Byrd making it just perpetuates how much of a joke the Pro Bowl can be.
Personally, I would've sent Mario, Kyle, Dareus and Alonzo.
Nice to see guys like Josh Gordon, Burflict and Kuechly get some recognition though.YardRat Wall of Fame

Mario makes a $400K incentive for making the Pro Bowl. He has an additional $400K in incentives each year of his contract he probably has earned with his sack numbers. He cap number next year is going to rise from $18.4M.
Kyle Williams also has significant incentives in his contract he has likely earned as well.
Byrd is on the tag, so he earns nothing extra.Comment

The only one you could maybe argue for is Burfict, but he beats Alonso in several categories. The real guy with a grudge here is Lavonte David.

I remember in '93 and '94 the Houston Oilers had 10 or 11 players make the Pro Bowl. They were 0-2 in the playoffs.Comment

- All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done.
