We're talking an 8-8 team that needed all three teams to lose today. Unless San Diego gets their crap together then the Steelers will pull off a pathetic miracle playoff spot this year.

San Diego may be pulling a Buffalo Bills today. A win and your in game at home for Week 17 against a team playing their backups. At least we may not be alone much longer.

Just think if KneeJ doesn't crap the bed or is benched in that game vs Pittsburgh, the Bills might be playing a game right now that could have possible playoff implications.

Well the Bolts won so it looks like we're still alone for choking against backups in Week 17. At least the Steelers didn't sneak into the playoffs.

The Chargers were 4-6 after 10 games. The Bills were 4-6 after 10 games. The Ravens were 4-6 after 10 games. The Steelers were 4-6 after 10 games. All of them teams had a chance for the playoffs today in a weak AFC and us in a horrible division with an easy schedule.

The Chargers got hot and beat some good teams towards the end of the year. The Bills got blown out or fumbled games away. That's the difference from the Bills and 31 other teams in the NFL since the turn of the century.

The Bills have a 1st year coach with a rookie QB who keeps getting hurt with no run D in an OBVIOUS REBUILDING YEAR.

But don't pass up an opportunity to cry ! BOOHOOHOO !

I'm not crying and just pointing out the obvious. We've been in "rebuilding mode" for over a decade now. We hear that same phrase every year.

Rallying cry of the Bills since 2000 - Rebuilding Year!

What will the excuse be next year when the team is around 6-10 again?

We're still a young team that needs experience along with another draft, free agency and a year to grow in the system with new coaches. We also have new players at safety and OG that need to grow as a player and together. In 2015 we will be a serious contender in the playoffs.

.

I think what bothers me the most about this years 6-10 team are the losses to 4-12 Cleveland, 4-12 Atlanta, and 4-12 Tampa.

Win those three, and you are probably in the playoffs.

Instead, the Bills play down to the level of the competition, and lose all three.

Just wait until Roethliesberger announces his final season. It will be like the 2005 Jerome Bettis Victory Tour.
