View Full Version : It's unbelievable how history repeats itself with this team

Letting some nobody have the game of their lives? Check.

Boneheaded errors that kill Buffalo drives and extend opponents' drives? Check.

Missing out on huge opportunities (like forcing four fumbles without recovering a single one)? Check.

Refusing to make in-game adjustments to move more coverage towards an opponents' receiver that already has, like, 10 catches midway through the 3rd quarter? Check.

Inexplicably getting no breaks or lucky bounces? Check.

A ****-ton of penalties? Check. (I'll give them a pass for this today since they were playing NE and getting the typical bull**** Patriot officiating)

They have got to be the most frustrating team to watch in the NFL!

What happened with the two personal fouls on one play? (I was eating dinner in the other room)

30 penalty yards on one play?

I never saw that before.

I'm about done with all of this.

I need to let some time pass, but next year will be 15 years.

Think about that... 15 years.

Like next year is going to finally start the turn around?

we all know it isn't.

It is amazing the Bills had more net yardage (393-382), had more yards per play (5.8-5.6), and won the turnover battle (1-0) and still managed to lose the game by 2 touchdowns. Yeah, the Patriots ran all over them, but the stats suggest a close game.

The answer? ST. 80+ yard and 60+ yard returns set up short fields that led to 10 points. An offside on a FG attempt extends a drive that results instead in a TD. There is your 14 point difference.

"3rd quarter, 1-10-NE35 (9:57) S.Ridley left tackle to NE 38 for 3 yards (M.Lawson). PENALTY on BUF-A.Branch, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced at NE 38. PENALTY on BUF-J.Hughes, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced between downs."

The losses to New England are becomming downright embarrassing.

I understand they are better than Buffalo, but come on.

I've never seen it either. Branch got shoved by a Pats player and shoved him back, the official saw the entire thing, and, of course, ignored NE's transgression and threw the flag on Branch. Apparently Hughes said something about the call and got another BS personal foul penalty, and they were assessed consecutively because league policy mandates that an official can make up strange interpretations of rules if it benefits the Pats.

Because the Bills lost by double digits, the fact that, once again, nearly every single call went NE's way was lost in the shuffle. No penalties until late in the 3rd quarter and were allowed to run illegal pick routes all day.

Marrone and Whaley talk about changing the culture. Here is their off-season to do it. No one should be safe.

Minimal moves equal another 5-6 win season. Brandon cannot sell tickets unless a bunch of new talented faces, vets and rookies, are shown to the fanbase. So he won't stand in the way.

I also think Russ has to show some significant move to get the fanbase excited. The fans don't think this is a playoff team right now and stopped selling out the games. Russ knows it.

He has to make us think we're worth watching going forward. He's always been a good business man let's hope he sees it that way and brings some talent to us to get us excited.

Honestly, I checked out of the game mentally on the first fumble.

"Yes, we stopped them on 3rd d- FUMBLE GET IT BILLS! GET IT! Oh Edelman got it, and he got the yards for a first down off it, because of course he did. I remember this game from the last 20 times we played it. Let's smoke some weed and pay attention to the other 6 games goin on, **** this."

It's not unbelievable though, it's the norm now. Unbelievable is doing the exact opposite of what this team does day and day out.
