at first i was shocked but looking at league stats (http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&statisticPositionCategory=DEFENSIVE_LINEMAN&season=2013&seasonType=REG&experience=&tabSeq=1&qualified=true&Submit=Go) its not really dramatically out of line. there sure are a lot of better stats but theres also a ton that are right in line with what he got - ie hes right about where julius peppers is and the latter is still considered an elite DE. i think it might have a lot to do with that players general assignment within the defense

still its admittedly quite disappointing considering what they pay him. you would think if he was a great all-around player he could fall into more tackles than that
