SEA restricts playoff tix sales to six states

Ever visited that city of liberal leanings? I'm surprised that they haven't yet erected statues of Marx and Lenin.

Carolina Hurricanes did that a few years ago in the playoffs so SBres fans in New York could not buy them.

They're doing the same thing in Denver. I like it. It's called "homefield advantage."

I don't blame them for wanting as many Seahawks fans there as possible instead of 49er fans traveling to the game. They're not the loudest stadium in the league for no reason.

What is Marxist about it I think it's awesome. I'd hope that the Bills would do the same if we magically were good enough to make the playoffs and played the Patriots or something.

Tickets to the Seahawks' divisional round playoff game went on sale on Dec. 31 and lasted all of 26 minutes.

I'm not so sure about that. I'd be willing to bet they'd have credit cards from all over the US. And they'll be the market where those who couldn't get tix will go.

If only the Sabres would restrict ticket sales to Leafs games to the lower 48. ;-)

I went to the World Series in Denver a few years ago. Because Coors Field is so much larger than Fenway and because they didn't include these restrictions, Boston fans found it cheaper to hammer the Rockies website and get face value tickets + airfare then to try to get into their own stadium.

I understand why there are doing this-but it would suck to be a Seahawks fan living out of state...

I thought Communism was about everyone sharing everything. Isn't this the opposite?

                              wow indeed.

Restricting tix sales so that the SEA crowd can raise the noise and influence the outcome as has been the case for the past several seasons, instead of letting the players do that. IIRC, they tried to set a decibel level this season.

Your fellow citizens spew about fair play and such all the time. Not in this case, eh? True colors...
