All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I don't blame them for wanting as many Seahawks fans there as possible instead of 49er fans traveling to the game. They're not the loudest stadium in the league for no reason.
What is Marxist about it I think it's awesome. I'd hope that the Bills would do the same if we magically were good enough to make the playoffs and played the Patriots or something.
Agreed ...and it's also called " F**k you, scalpers " .
I'm not so sure about that. I'd be willing to bet they'd have credit cards from all over the US. And they'll be the market where those who couldn't get tix will go.
They're doing the same thing in Denver. I like it. It's called "homefield advantage."
I went to the World Series in Denver a few years ago. Because Coors Field is so much larger than Fenway and because they didn't include these restrictions, Boston fans found it cheaper to hammer the Rockies website and get face value tickets + airfare then to try to get into their own stadium.

Restricting tix sales so that the SEA crowd can raise the noise and influence the outcome as has been the case for the past several seasons, instead of letting the players do that. IIRC, they tried to set a decibel level this season.
Your fellow citizens spew about fair play and such all the time. Not in this case, eh? True colors...
