Panthers re-sign CB McDaniel, waive four

The Carolina Panthers re-signed cornerback Emmanuel McDaniel and released four players Monday. McDaniel, out of East Carolina, played in 16 games last season. He finished with 31 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He was originally drafted by Carolina in the fourth round in 1996.

The Panthers waived cornerback Adesola Badon, defensive tackle Mario Fatafehi, safety Julian Jones and wide receiver Bashir Yamini. MORE...
