    Can we keep the same defense post-Pet?

    I like our defense. Can we keep the style/playbook he installed for continuity purposes and just promote within to manage it? Just add another run stopping LB, and perhaps another interior DT and we should be in good shape. Heck Leodis and Williams had career years even though Gilmore continued to be a liability.

    Gilmore was only a liability while injured.

    After he fully healed, he played well.

      Keeping the defense is the easy part, if they wish.

      Having a guy that can put the weekly game plans together, and call the shots on Sundays, is the toughie.
