This was my initial reaction but everyone in the NFL gets second chances, literally everyone Vick, Belichick, Dennard, Lewis, if us giving Williams another chance improves our team than that's what I want. I just want to be better.

I get it, I just don't agree. It's not a moral high ground thing either, I just can't get past that.

Also can you imagine the negative attention our D would draw on every game? Even the slightest hint of an aggressive play would get flagged for Unnecessary Roughness. The NFL will be damn sure to make sure any Williams D is watched at all times.

In certain respects I'm with DB on this, but I'd also say that I wouldn't want him due to a trust issue.
Not only that, but I don't think he's that good, although he's obviously been a decent DC through the years.

either he or wade, I would be perfectly ok with... that would allow us to just focus on the O side of the ball because we would all know the d side was taken care of. I want proven consistency over us trying to show the rest of the league how smart we are - only to have it blow up in our faces... - see russel Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick.
