Off to a tricky contract offer for the Bills where the exclusive rights time is right here.

Mario had a vicious sack on Brees btw.

How ironic.

If Byrd stays a Bill, I'm a fan...if Byrd flies the coop (neat analogy, huh?) then not so much.

The Pro Bowl was a waste of time before, but team Sanders vs. team Rice? You'll probably have to kill me before I watch that game.

every injury he gets his contract demand goes up a million

I probably went 20+ years without watching it.

I was killing time before hitting the sack early and watched the first quarter. They were playing hard, instead of going through the motions.

The last time I think I watched it was when Tasker was named MVP in 1993, 21 years ago.
Not even sure I watched that, might have just seen the highlights on ESPN.

Just end the meaningless game now.

I watched the National Anthem, then went back to the Godfather.

the coach told him he had inside info that the Bills weren't going to franchise him

The only reason the Bills don't franchise Byrd is because they signed him to a contract.

We watched season one of Dowton Abbey yesterday.

Just in time for it to linger all off season and training camp

Is that the season when the butler claims he has a foot problem, stays in his room and refuses to come out until they're about to dock his
pay? That was great

Trying to make this game relevant - in fact, trying to save it at all - is like trying to resuscitate a dying person with a band-aid and a bowl of jello. Team Sanders and team Rice? Really? The minuscule amount of interest left in this game, the NFC vs. AFC thing, has now been taken away. The MLB All Star game actually means something, and the NHL and NBA games at least give you an in-season look at players who are in the midst of big years.

The only significant thing that now can happen in this fiasco is a player being seriously injured in a meaningless exhibition.

I haven't watched it in forever, and never will again. Please, NFL, put this thing out of its misery before you embarrass yourself and bore a few really overly loyal fans to death.

yeah the anthem in the Pro Bowl is great, things go downhill after that. Who sung it this year?

Parker called and said if Byrd didn't get back in he'd knock a million off his contract

Okay, didn't watch. While not watching, a friend of mine suggested to watch it, we decided not to because we thought the Practice Squad game would be far more important and interesting. Says a lot. Actually though, I'm starting to be a fan of the Practice Squad game. Give the guys who get no prime time a chance to show off since the Senior Bowl.

Mario didn't record a stat. Dareus had a good game. Two sacks and a solo stop for no gain.

Damn I forgot the Pro Bowl was even on yesterday. I guess that explains why I haven't watched a full game in over a decade or even seen one at all in about 5 years. I usually look forward to the highlights but didn't even think about it. That's how meaningless this game is to me.

They should just stick to naming the All Pro teams, and have a game between the NCAA Nat'l champion vs the last place NFL team. Never happen because of the injury factor and millions of dollars on the line for the pros and pro-hopefuls, but I'd watch a game like that.

Interestingly enough, they actually used to do something like that.

They played it all the way into the 1970's
