    Colts add Spanish flavor

The Indianapolis Colts, looking to broaden their audience base to the city's growing Hispanic population, will do Spanish radio broadcasts of its eight regular-season and two preseason home games this season on WEDJ-107.1 FM, the team announced.

Armando Quintero, the Spanish voice of the Dallas Cowboys for 21 seasons and the NBA's San Antonio Spurs for five, was introduced as play-by-play announcer for the first Spanish broadcasts of an Indianapolis professional sports team.

"This is a very wonderful opportunity for the Colts," said Ray Compton, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Armando is an exceptional talent. He knows football, he knows the NFL and he understands the Hispanic community. We are thrilled to have him in our starting lineup."
