Typical GM speak. Notice how he said that winning a good will not affect the trade value but didn't say anything about the actual quality of Miller's play. The team could win gold with Miller never touching the ice or he could play well and they won't make it out of group play if everyone else sucks (see: Buffalo Sabres for the last 5 years).

So, teams will be watching Miller and Murray knows it.
