Olympic Medal round thread

Matchups:

Swe - Slovenia/Austria winner
USA - Czech Republic/Slovakia winner
Can - Latvia/Swiss winner
Fin - Russia/Norway winner

If this plays out like it should we should see:
Swe - Austria
US - Czech (although this could easily be the Slovaks)
Can - Switzerland
Fin - Russia

This should set up USA - Can in the semis although the Swiss haven't been easy to play against
With Swe - Russia on the other side

Well I didn't see Latvia beating the Swiss. Switzerland always played Canada hard so this, on paper looks like a better match up. Slovenia takes out the Austrians too. That's why they play them I guess. I am hoping that the Fins can take out the Russians. Nothing makes me happier than watching the Russians lose.

I can't remember a time when I wanted the Russians to win either.
