All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

If this was a Bills player, what would you want to happen to him?
Video shows Ravens running back Ray Rice dragging girlfriend out of Atlantic City casino elevator
Surveillance video obtained by TMZ shows Rice dragging his fiancée, Janay Palmer, out of the elevator at Revel Casino and dropping her on the casino floor…read more
This is way more infuriating than anything Incognito and Martin did or didn't say in text messages. In my opinion, Rice should be kicked out of the league if it is true that he punched his fiancé unconscious.
If a video surfaced of you doing this and it went national/viral, would you keep your job?
My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.
Re: If this was a Bills player, what would you want to happen to him?
I need to hear the facts couldn't she just be drunk? I know someone saw her spit on him, but let's see her face, if he truly knocked her out then she'll have a mark. If so, I say it's a full season.
And he should have to pay his salary to a home for abused women.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
Re: If this was a Bills player, what would you want to happen to him?
I'd want his ass sitting in a cell and after, never in a Bills uniform again. A lot of players have off field problems and there are some that happen because of bad choices by the player, but IMO there is never a reason to hit a woman, yet to hit her hard enough to knock her unconscious. Then to just drag her limp body around instead of showing some kind of remorse and calling for help in case something was seriously wrong with her.

Exactly. She could have been drunk. If you were able to catch a little snippet of my life on film, you'd see me standing over a woman just laying there in a parking lot. Looks real bad, right? She was dead-drunk, and I never touched her. Hard to know what to do in that situation.
Even if she does have "marks on her," she could have been drunk and fell. One time a girl fell down the stairs on me and broke her collarbone, knocked herself unconscious. Had to call the paramedics. Catch the wrong part of that on film, and it looks bad...probably looked bad regardless. Alcohol is one hell of a drug.
I wouldn't go rushing off to judgment in this case.
Edit: I saw the video before and was posting about THAT. Reading the article, they make it sound pretty bad...I don't know, but there are probably ways for the doctor to tell if Rice struck her unconscious. Still could have been drunk even if they did get into a little fight before.
Re: If this was a Bills player, what would you want to happen to him?
Need to hear the facts. I mean there is a lot of variables here. If she was drunk and trying to strike him with an object that's a new wrinkle. Knocking her out though takes a pretty excessive force if that's what caused her to lose conciousness. I've been around some real wasted chicks face planting on cold hard concrete many times and also seen many drunk girls who think they have no boundaries and are entitled to act as violent as possible. We will have to see.
I mean nobody knows what happened in that altercation. You can speculate but it won't hold weight if she doesn't file a complaint. Common sense however would tell you otherwise.

Whitner: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4061171
This isn't the first time Whitner, 23, has been in trouble with the law. In 2006, he was arrested for non-criminal harassment of his live-in girlfriend in suburban Buffalo.
