2014 Salary Cap expected to rise...

Salary cap expected to exceed previous $130M figure
By Marc Sessler Around the League Writer Published: Feb. 25, 2014 at 03:52 p.m. Updated: Feb. 25, 2014 at 05:13 p.m.

"Good news for cap-strapped franchises league-wide.
NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Tuesday that the salary cap is expected by most to climb north of the $130 million figure discussed last week and well above the previously projected $126.3 million for 2014, according to team and union sources.
The NFL and NFL Players Association are in talks Tuesday to set the cap, which three sources pegged as more than $130 million. One team told Breer it expected the cap to be closer to $129 million."...

The 2014 salary cap is expected to exceed the previously projected figure of $130 million, Albert Breer reported Tuesday. What does that mean for coveted free agents like the Panthers' Greg Hardy?

Can ticket, concession, parking, trinkets increases be far behind?

If we can get this cap to be around the 132 mark then BLO really has no leg to stand on to pay Bryd. The added 6 million will in essence be like we are paying bryd 2 million based on the cap that has stayed the same for the past 2 seasons. Also should note the cap will not go down, can only stay the same or increase per the CBA.

Ralph's family is just licking their lips with that extra salary cap that will not be spent.

Big misconception is that Ralph keeps the money he does not spend on salary. That is a big lie ladies and gentlemen.

His profit comes from operations cost, what he does not spend does not go in his pockets.

Steelers, Cowboys, and Redskins are breathing a lot easier.

Ummmm how does not spending $20M doesn't mean you're not saving $20M? It's like this Ralph is like a kid at the candy store. He has $1.00 to spent and is required to buy five pieces of candy. So his max budget is $1.00 but he choses to buy five pieces that only add up to $0.50 because he chose to buy four gum drops for $0.40 total a tootsie roll for $0.10 (Jim Leonard) where as he could have instead bought a Snickers (Byrd) for $0.60. I guess we all assume that Ralph has the extra $.50 to spend on the Snickers and feel because he's not spending it he's pocketing the extra $0.50.

You are wasting your breath on the homers. To them Ralph can do no wrong.

After Ralph DIES, they will lose their minds when they discover that the succession plan is as simple as Ralph said it would be -- the team will be sold to the highest bidder. His family will pay the IRS what is owed and the proceeds like the rest of his assets will be distributed based on his will/estate planning.

Ralph will have done nothing in an attempt to keep this team in Buffalo after his DEATH because any effort in that regard could potentially lower the price the team sells for.

Why can't the homers not accept that fact?

                It is very simple.

Yeah they don't get it that the tailgating at the Ralph is THE sole reason this team has been worth going to for the past 20 years.

The game is there to legitimize getting drunk (for the majority) on a Sunday morning in a parking lot.
